Our Values
ClwydAlyn’s values are Trust, Kindness and Hope and our procurement strategy is underpinned by these values. Our approach to procurement is one that builds trust with our supply chains so that they want to work with us. Tenants and other key stakeholders are involved in defining services, so they can influence what we do, how much it costs and can help us to improve the quality of the services we deliver.
We are committed to the Welsh Government Procurement Policy agenda and procurement policy statement and we’ve signed up to the Welsh Government Ethical Employment in Supply Chains Code of Practice. ClwydAlyn is also committed to adhering to both ethical and moral obligations in conducting our procurement of goods and services.
We recommend that you register as a supplier on Sell2Wales to ensure that you can tender for any local or regional opportunities. By signing up you can receive automatic notifications for ClwydAlyn and other local tenders so that you don't miss out.
Our first step is to establish whether or not the goods, works or services are covered by an existing contract or framework. If they are, then we must use that supplier, if not, then the value of the contract has an effect on the procurement process as detailed below.
A contract value is determined by estimating the value of the goods, services or works required and the duration of the requirement.
