Love Takes Flight; Pat and Ron Celebrate 60 Years of Marriage
Pat and Ron Bank are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with a truly special Valentine’s meal.
Local couple Pat and Ron Bank both reside at Chirk Court Nursing Home near Wrexham. As Valentine’s Day approaches, they are looking forward to celebrating their Diamond wedding anniversary, with a delicious three-course meal, created by Chirk Court’s chef, to mark their ongoing devotion to each other.
Ron, was serving in the AirForce when he met Pat, who was part of the supernumerary crew. Their connection was instant as they shared a joke, which led to them embarking on a lifetime of happiness, adventure and devotion to each other.
Now, Pat and Ron who were married in 1965, are looking forward to celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. The staff at Chirk Court, who have been inspired by Pat and Ron’s devotion to each other, wanted to do something special, to honour the couple’s noteworthy Wedding Anniversary. A special meal has been organised which will include their favourite foods, music and of course flowers.
“First thing every morning, Ron goes along to check on Pat and make sure she’s ok. Their love for each other has truly stood the test of time! We’re so pleased that we can help them celebrate this wonderful marriage milestone.”
