Rental properties with rent set higher than Social Housing Rent but below open market rent (generally between Local Housing Allowance rate and 80% of open market rent).

Intermediate Rental properties are rented on a Standard Occupation Contract, this is different from the contract for Social Housing, but still gives security of tenure and benefits are also taken into account.

All our Intermediate Rental properties are allocated via TaiTeg, who hold the Affordable Housing Register in North Wales.

Rent to Own Wales supports the purchase of a home for those who don’t have sufficient funds for a mortgage deposit. The scheme helps residents build up a lump sum towards a deposit whilst renting, that can then be used to help secure a mortgage.

The home can be purchased 2 to 5 years after moving in and in this time 25% of the rent paid is saved towards the lump sum as well as 50% of the increase in the property value (if any) during the period.
